Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality SLP services to patients in licensed care facilities. You will screen, evaluate, and implement treatment plans while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services to patients in accordance with the principles of speech-language therapy and Reliant Rehabilitation’s standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and facility staff while providing high-quality care, including patient screening and evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans, discharge planning, and case management.
  • Uphold professional conduct that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to excellence and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Improve patients’ communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities through direct provision and oversight of speech therapy.
  • Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education.
  • Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on developments in speech-language pathology and the healthcare environment.
  • Apply knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver care that aligns with treatment goals and produces meaningful outcomes.
  • Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation.
  • Maintaining confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
