Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality therapy to patients in diverse care communities. You will screen, evaluate, develop and implement treatment plans, ensure discharge planning, and collaborate with facility staff to deliver care in compliance with state and federal regulations.

This full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for mentorship and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Improve patients' communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities through direct therapy.
• Contribute to development and sustainability of an SLP program.
• Collaborate with staff and pursue continuing education to enhance care.
• Maintain valid state license and stay informed on regulatory changes.
• Ensure care meets billing guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Deliver care aligned with treatment goals and measurable outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively in English for documentation.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with state practice acts.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Delivering Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services to patients in accordance with the principles of speech-language therapy and Reliant Rehabilitation’s standards. Foster positive relationships with clients and facility staff while providing high-quality care, including patient screening and evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans, discharge planning, and case management. Uphold professional conduct that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to excellence and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve patients’ communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities through direct provision and oversight of speech therapy
• Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust SLP program
• Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education
• Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on developments in speech-language pathology and the healthcare environment
• Apply knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards
• Deliver care that aligns with treatment goals and produces meaningful outcomes
• Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation
• Maintaining confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
