Job summary

Onward Education is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for an on-site, school-based contract in Hitchcock, TX for the 2026-2027 school year. You will evaluate students, develop IEPs/504 Plans, and provide targeted therapy to support communication goals.

Responsibilities include screenings, AAC utilization when appropriate, and collaboration with educators and families to ensure student progress within a campus setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete student evaluations, screenings, and standardized assessments in a school setting.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs and/or 504 Plans for students with communication-related needs.
• Ability to deliver intervention services addressing speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication.
• Knowledge of documentation and recordkeeping practices to track progress and maintain accurate student files.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, administrators, and families to support students.

Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities
