Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract serving the North Houston area. The role covers the academic year from August to May, focusing on supporting students’ communication and language development across K-12 settings.

Experience or licensing in Texas is required, with CC-SLP preferred. New graduates and Clinical Fellows are welcome, and bilingual candidates are highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Active Texas licensure or eligibility.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification strongly preferred.

  • Bilingual skills are highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to K-12 students.
  • Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies and track progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
  • Travel to a primary school site; itinerant opportunities may exist within the district.

Education
