Job summary

Therapeutic Services, a member of the Point Quest Group, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based therapy in K-12 settings in Houston, TX. You will assess, plan, and deliver direct services to support student communication goals under IEP guidance.

The role includes collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams, with emphasis on documentation, compliance, and progress updates. A strong background in school-based practice is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain).
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
  • Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
  • Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
  • Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
  • Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).

$47-$55/hr. | Full-Time | Houston, TX | School-Based | SLP License Required

About the Role:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. What We're Looking For:

Must Have:

  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain)

Preferred:

  • One year of experience in speech therapy
  • Department of Education certification
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
  • Experience with school-based caseload management
