This is a full-time, tenure-track position under the terms of the Gouverneur Education Association bargaining agreement. Successful candidate will work the school calendar days with the potential for an additional summer appointment.

Qualifications for Employment:

• Education/Certification:
  • Speech Certification.
  • Hold a current New York State Certificate.
• Reports To: CSE Chairperson and Building Principal
• Job Goal: The function of the position is to provide an educational climate to guide the development of each child identified in accordance with the principles prescribed by school philosophy and policies. In doing so, the teacher shall be directly responsible to the building principal and the CSE chairperson.
