Position Overview: The Speech Teacher, also known as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing treatment for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The role requires collaboration with teachers, parents, and school administrators to support students' communication abilities and ensure their success in the classroom. The Speech Teacher will work with students across various age groups, from preschool to high school, in both general and special education settings.

Collaborates with classroom teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to ensure alignment between speech therapy goals and academic instruction.
Maintains regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and strategies for support at home.
Participates in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals related to speech and language.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
Maintains accurate records of student evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans.
Prepares and submit required reports and documentation to meet district, state, and federal regulations.
