Job summary

Job Description

EdAdvance is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver early intervention (Part C IDEA) services

Major Responsibilities
  • Home visitation with infants, toddlers, and their families
  • Conduct developmental screenings and/or eligibility evaluations
  • Collaborate with clinical team, families, and other professionals
  • Participate in development of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
  • Assist with the transition to preschool programming and other community supports
  • Regular and consistent attendance is considered an essential function of this position
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Ability to develop effective relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
Qualifications/Requirements
  • CT Licensed/Certified Speech Therapist – MA/MS – CCC, SLP
  • Experience with Infants, Toddlers and Families
  • Service Coordination training (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling and therapeutic holding as required
  • Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodations
Travel

Position requires home visitation and regional travel throughout the Torrington area. Must have reliable transportation, have a valid driver's license, and car insurance.
