Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based, in-person role in Tacoma, WA. This full-time opportunity supports K–12 students with articulation, language, fluency and social communication goals.

CFs are welcome, with strong mentorship and W-2 employment plus liability insurance. You’ll conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, develop IEP goals, participate in meetings, and coordinate with teachers and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Licensed SLP in Washington State or eligible to obtain.
• Washington ESA Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply.
• School-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
