Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a school-based role in Aurora, CO. The position supports elementary and middle school caseloads with mentorship for CFs and a W-2 employment structure with benefits.

Roles include providing SLP services in a K-12 setting, developing IEP goals, participating in meetings, and collaborating with teachers and families to ensure skill carryover. CFs welcome to apply; compensation up to $65/hour.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Current Colorado State SLP license or ability to obtain.
• Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification or ability to obtain.
• CFs welcome and encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Collaborate with teachers and families to ensure carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
