Job summary

Nyman Associates in Birmingham, Alabama, seeks a school speech-language pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders, helping them improve educational outcomes.

You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized IEPs, monitor progress, and apply evidence-based practices across settings to support student achievement.

Qualifications

• Graduate with M.A./M.S. in communication disorders recognized by ASHA CCCs or CF State SLP License (or in process)
• Ability to pursue licensure if applicable

Position Summary

As a school speech-language pathologist, you will work with students with communication disorders or difficulties, providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to help them improve their communication skills. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans and support students in reaching their educational goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with an M.A. or M.S. in communication disorders that is recognized by ASHA ASHA CCC’s or CF State SLP License or in the process of applying for a License Teaching certificate, or ability to obtain (if applicable)
