Job summary

Talin Home Healthcare is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in patients' homes across the NoVA region. You will create individualized treatment plans and work with families and school teams to achieve communication goals.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active licensure, ASHA certification (preferred), and at least 1 year of pediatric or school-based experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state SLP license is required.
• ASHA certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
• Implement therapy interventions to improve communication skills.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy.

Speech Pathologist Qualifications / Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to comply with all regulatory standards

Education and Experience Requirements

• Masters degree in speech language pathology or related field
• >1 year speech language pathology experience
• Active state SLP license
• ASHA certification preferred
• CPR certification
