Job summary

Kennedy-Donovan Center in Massachusetts is seeking an entry-level Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist to work with infants and toddlers (birth to age 3) and their families, delivering family-centered, evidence-based EI services in home, community, and group settings.

The role offers a flexible schedule with full-time (30+ hours) and part-time options, a typical 8 am–4 pm shift, and travel to client sites while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support developmental

Qualifications

• Must meet degree, licensure, and certification standards as defined in EI Operational Standards.
• Scheduling flexibility including occasional evenings.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within designated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and evaluations.
• Partner with families to develop and implement IFSP goals.
• Provide home, community, and group-based EI services.
• Coach and empower caregivers to support child’s development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with EI standards.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and professional development.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:

• Must meet the required degree, licensure, and certification standards as defined in the Early Intervention Operational Standards.
• Flexibility in scheduling is required, including occasional evenings.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other required documentation software.
• CPR/First Aid Certified (or ability to obtain certification within designated timeframe).
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively.

This position is community-based and requires travel to homes and community settings. Candidates must be comfortable working in a variety of environments and utilizing technology for documentation and communication.
