Role Description

The Speech Language Pathologist is part-time or full-time with available roles in local schools, daycares, home, and some clinic-based work in Scarbroough, ME. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating pediatric clients for speech, language, and communication disorders, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy. The role involves monitoring progress, adjusting interventions, and documenting assessments, goals, and outcomes in a clear and timely manner. The Speech Language Pathologist collaborates closely with caregivers, multidisciplinary team members, and other professionals to support carryover of skills at home and in community settings. Additional responsibilities may include participating in team or IEP/IFSP meetings, contributing to program development, and maintaining compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Speech Therapy and Speech intervention to support pediatric communication needs.
• Knowledge and experience with Communication Disorders and Language Disorders across diverse pediatric populations.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Maine.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Ability to create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and family-centered communication skills, with a commitment to inclusive and culturally responsive care.
• Pediatric clinical experience in outpatient, school, or early intervention settings is highly beneficial.
