San Marcos Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team. The role involves screening and treating patients with speech, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a post-acute care setting.

You will develop care plans, monitor progress, provide family and caregiver counseling, and prepare discharge summaries in compliance with regulations. Join a stable, values-driven environment focused on geriatric recovery.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• Open to SLPs of all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.

San Marcos Rehabilitation is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team.
