The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Back to You Rehab provides top-tier, primarily in-person therapy across our locations, with occasional telehealth as clinically appropriate. Beyond direct patient care, this is a unique leadership opportunity: you will play a central role in building, standardizing, and expanding our SLP service line across the company while upholding our high standards for clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Documentation
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and deliver evidence-based treatments for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized, measurable treatment plans and provide ongoing education to patients and their families.
  • Complete accurate EMR documentation (Prompt), including SOAP notes, evaluations, and discharge summaries, by midnight on the day of service.
  • Generate and submit a Plan of Care (POC) with evaluations/progress notes, ensuring they are faxed to referring physicians for signature.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, case managers, and attorneys.
Program Leadership & Practice Growth
  • Spearhead the development and expansion of the SLP service line, establishing clinical guidelines, workflows, and best-practice protocols.
  • Actively support marketing and growth initiatives, building strong relationships with community partners and referral sources.
  • Identify new referral streams and assist with community outreach, social media, and educational content.
  • Mentor, train, and support the onboarding of future SLP staff to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Operations & Compliance
  • Manage your treatment schedule, including adherence to clinic protocols for cancellations and no-show fees.
  • Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Provide unbiased, culturally sensitive, and highly professional care to all patients.
Required Qualifications

  • Licensure: Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Experience: Proven clinical experience with strong knowledge of targeted disorders and evidence-based treatments.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, time-management, and tech proficiency (EMR systems, Google Workspace, telehealth platforms).
