Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC-SLP certification.
  • Current Georgia licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Strong clinical skills in pediatric speech therapy and assessments, incl. AAC.
  • Ability to collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organization and time-management with accurate documentation.
  • Familiarity with an EMR system (InSync) is helpful.
  • Pediatric outpatient or school/childcare experience preferred.

Premier Children's Therapy Center is a family-centered pediatric therapy practice dedicated to helping children of all ages and abilities reach their fullest potential. Our clinician-owned, multi-disciplinary practice provides occupational, physical, and speech therapy services in an outpatient setting and within multiple private schools and childcare centers in the Roswell, GA area. Clinicians collaborate closely with one another, as well as with other healthcare providers, teachers, and caregivers, to ensure comprehensive and consistent care. Our 6000+ sq ft office comes with fully equipped sensory gyms, private treatment rooms, kitchen area, and numerous SLP assessments. The team emphasizes high-quality, evidence-based therapy and a supportive environment for both clients and staff. We offer flexible scheduling and recognize that family and personal time are important too!

Role Description:

The Speech Language Pathologist is a part-time, on-site 1099/contract role based in Roswell, GA. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating pediatric clients with a range of communication and oral motor needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy in the clinic and potentially in partnering with local private schools or childcare centers during the day, if desired. The role involves ongoing progress monitoring, documentation of services, and regular communication with families, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to support carryover of skills. The SLP is also expected to participate in interdisciplinary collaboration, contribute to a positive team culture, and engage in professional development to maintain best practices. SLPs that succeed at Premier are organized, timely, creative, flexible, and collaborative.

Time Requirements:

This is a part-time 1099/contact position with the potential to grow to full-time depending on needs and availability. Must have 3:00-6:00 pm availability at least 2-3 days a week. Earlier caseload available as well, typically offsite at local schools but clinic patients may be offered as well.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Pay starts at $70 an hour, based on experience, with eligibility for bonuses every 12-18 months after one year.
  • $10 more per patient when offsite
  • Significantly higher reimbursement for evaluations, for which therapists are given the flexibility to schedule as much time as needed to complete thoroughly.
  • No productivity requirements!
  • Continuing education yearly stipend of $500-$800 is given based on number of hours worked, on average, per week.
  • Mentorship available for new therapists
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Georgia.
  • Strong clinical skills in Speech Therapy and Speech assessment and intervention across pediatric populations, including familiarity with AAC devices and oral motor/feeding skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and multidisciplinary team members, and to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including accurate documentation and caseload management.
  • Familiarity with an EMR system (our practice uses InSync, but general EMR familiarity is helpful)
  • Previous pediatric experience in outpatient, school, or childcare settings is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PROMPT, Lindamood Bell or Orton Gillingham training
  • Myofunctional therapy experience/training
  • Sensory and motor feeding experience
