Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
  • Active Georgia SLPA license (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with supervising SLPs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy under the direct supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Implement treatment plans using evidence-based therapy techniques.
  • Deliver therapy in homes, clinics, ABA centers, childcare centers, and community settings.
  • Assist with screenings, data collection, and documentation as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Document treatment sessions and client progress on the day services are provided.

Total Communication Therapy is seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing team. Position Overview

The Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) works under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve communication skills in children. This position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children and their families while making a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language therapy services under the direct supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapy techniques.
  • Deliver therapy in natural environments, including homes, clinics, childcare centers, ABA centers, and community settings.
  • Assist with screenings, treatment activities, data collection, and documentation as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Accurately document treatment sessions and client progress on the day services are provided.
  • Collaborate with supervising SLPs, caregivers, families, teachers, ABA providers, and other professionals to support communication goals.
  • Educate families and caregivers on home strategies to reinforce communication skills between sessions.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, state regulations, and company policies.
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain therapy materials and assist with preparing treatment activities as needed.
  • Travel between client locations throughout the workday.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
  • Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with supervising SLPs.
  • Passion for working with pediatric populations.
  • Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, AAC, early intervention, or Gestalt Language Processing is preferred but not required.
Work Environment & Schedule

Mobile position with travel between two clinics located in Loganville, GA and Stone Mountain, GA

Therapy provided in homes, clinics, ABA centers, childcare centers, and community settings.

Flexible scheduling available.

Part‑time available.

Primarily daytime hours with occasional evening availability based on client needs.
