Job summary

A healthcare solutions provider in Florida is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide skilled therapy and patient evaluations. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, collaborating with care teams, and adhering to safety protocols. Ideal candidates will have a relevant graduate degree and state licensure. This position offers a day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, with 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Current state SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility.
  • Must be able to conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatments for patients.

Job description

Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Day Shift)
Hours: 40 hours per week

Provide skilled speech, language, and swallowing therapy in accordance with state/federal regulations and facility guidelines. Responsible for patient evaluation, treatment planning, and delivery of therapy to improve communication and swallowing function.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatments for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and update individualized treatment/discharge plans
  • Document services in compliance with regulations and facility standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families
  • Maintain compliance with all infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA)
  • Current state SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility
  • Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills
