Job summary

CoxHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in partnership with Select Medical is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time position in Ozark, Missouri. New grads are welcome to apply and a $15,000 sign-on bonus is available, along with a six-month mentorship program to support your transition into practice.

The role focuses on evaluating patients, developing and adjusting treatment plans, and coordinating therapy services to help patients return to community activities.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• CCC or completion in first 90 days of employment required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans.
• Delegates and directs all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
• Designs functional treatment programs enabling return to community activities.
• Educates patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Performs other professional duties related to patient care and therapy services.
• Coordinates treatment programs with other clinical/therapeutic services and community resources.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients.
• Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities.
• Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services and design of program delivery.
• Coordinatetreatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services as available community resources.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified CLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association preferred
