Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Nortonville, KS is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This role involves assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting. Candidates should hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid state SLP license.

Qualifications

• Valid state SLP license.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred.

• CPR certification preferred.

Position Summary

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders
• Address speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive-communication needs
• Help patients improve function and overall quality of life

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately
• Stay current with best practices and advances in speech-language pathology

Qualifications
