Job summary

Jump Ahead Pediatrics in Newark, NJ is actively seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist or CF to join our school-based team for a full-time role. We provide direct supervision for Clinical Fellows and hands-on training to new grads, with a focus on impactful services for students.

Responsibilities include assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and swallowing disorders, developing IEPs, delivering therapy, monitoring progress, and collaborating with families and educators.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist or recent Clinical Fellow (CFY)
• NJ School Certification required or in process

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals.
• Maintain documentation and comply with regulations.

Setting:

• Hours:8:30am-3:00pm
• Pay: $60-$80
• Compensation for the full school day, including prep time, note time, and lunch.
• CF will receive direct supervision
