Job summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a specialized high school and transition program serving students with autism and complex communication needs. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based speech-language therapy to students in a supportive school setting.

You will develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals, collaborate with teachers and related services, and participate in IEP meetings while managing a caseload of 20–25 students.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Delaware SLP license or able to obtain
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required for licensed SLPs who have CF
  • Clinical Fellows welcome to apply
  • Experience with autism and complex communication needs preferred
  • Interest in AAC encouraged

Location: Newark, DESchool Setting: Specialized Autism ProgramSchedule: Full-time | 35 hours/week | 8:20 AM–4:00 PMDates: August 18, 2026 – June 15, 2027Pay: $65,000–$80,000

Make a Meaningful Impact with Students with Autism

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a specialized high school and transition program serving students with autism and complex communication needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about supporting students with significant needs and wants to make a meaningful impact in a highly supportive school environment.

The program serves students who require a higher level of support than may be available in a traditional school setting. You'll work with high school and transition-aged students while collaborating closely with educators and other members of the school team.

What You'll Do
  • Provide speech-language therapy to high school and transition-aged students
  • Support students with complex communication needs and autism
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
  • Utilize AAC and other communication strategies to support functional communication
  • Manage an anticipated caseload of approximately 20–25 students, with many students receiving a higher frequency of services
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and meet all school and professional requirements
