Job summary

Split Rock Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Bronx, NY is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team. You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to improve residents' communication and swallowing abilities.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, NY licensure, CCC-SLP preferred, and prior SNF experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current New York SLP license.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with resident goals and clinical findings.
• Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and therapy teams to ensure coordinated care delivery.
• Document all services provided in accordance with federal, state, and facility guidelines.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and dysphagia precautions.

Location: Bronx, NY

Pay Rate: $55-$63 per hour

Schedule: Full-time

We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving the quality of life for our residents through patient-centered care and collaboration with a supportive interdisciplinary team.
