Job summary

Hamaspik of Kings County Inc. is seeking per diem NYS Licensed Speech Therapists to provide therapy in home settings for our Early Intervention program serving all 5 NYC boroughs, with high demand in the Bronx. We value a team-centered, multi-disciplinary approach and flexible scheduling to meet family needs.

The role involves 1:1 therapy with children, family education, and collaboration with a strong clinical and administrative support system. Bilingual candidates (Yiddish/Spanish) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with children who have disabilities in Early Intervention programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Desire to improve the quality of life for children with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children in home settings.
• Create family-centered treatment goals for carryover and progress.
• Monitor and assess intervention effectiveness with a multidisciplinary approach.
• Maintain documentation of therapy sessions and caregiver communication.
• Educate families and caregivers about the therapeutic process.

Hamaspik of Kings County Inc. is currently seeking per diem NYS Licensed Speech Therapists to provide therapeutic services in home settings for our Early Intervention program serving all 5 NYC boroughs. We currently have a high demand in the Bronx. At Hamaspik we value the importance of a team centered, multi-disciplinary therapeutic approach.

Compensation

• Compensation starting at $60 for 30-minute session.

Responsibilities include

• Working 1:1 with children diagnosed with developmental delays
• Creating family centered treatment goals to facilitate carryover and maximum progress.
• Monitoring & assessing intervention effectiveness utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach.
• Maintaining appropriate documentation of therapy sessions and caregiver communication.
• Educating families and caregivers about the therapeutic process.
