Job summary

Roots To Grow is hiring part-time and full-time NYS Certified Speech Therapists for their Early Intervention program. This role involves providing flexible services to children aged 0-3 in various settings. Candidates will be supported with ongoing mentoring and professional development.

Qualifications include a NYS Speech Therapy Certificate or CFY Intern status. Experience with young children is preferred. Responsibilities include direct therapy, data collection, and collaboration with families to meet developmental goals.

Qualifications

• Must have a NYS Speech Therapy Certificate or be a CFY Intern.
• Experience with young students under age 5 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 therapy to children in-home or community-based settings.
• Collect data and complete daily session notes to track progress and inform practice.
• Provide families with information, skills, and support to enhance the child’s skill development.
• Conduct activities to improve cognitive, communication, social-emotional, fine/gross motor, and adaptive ADL skills.
• Collaborate with families and service providers to assist the child in reaching their IFSP goals.
• Maintain progress reports and participate in meetings related to the child.
