Job summary

A community-based healthcare provider in New York is seeking NYS Certified Physical Therapists for part-time and full-time roles within an Early Intervention program. The ideal candidates will engage with children aged 0-3, providing 1:1 therapy and collaborating with families to support child development. Qualifications

• NYS Physical Therapy Certificate is required to practice.
• Experience with children aged 0-5 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 therapy to children in a home or community-based setting.
• Collect data and complete daily session notes to track progress.
• Support families with information and skills to enhance child skill development.
• Conduct activities for cognitive, communication, and motor skill improvement.
• Collaborate with families and providers to reach IFSP goals.
• Maintain progress reports and participate in relevant meetings.

Currently hiring part‑time and full‑time NYS Certified Physical Therapists for our home and community‑based Early Intervention program.

We offer flexible part‑time or full‑time schedules delivering services to children 0‑3 years old. Ongoing mentoring, professional development and support are provided to all our providers. Additionally, we offer weekly pay periods and referral incentives.

• Experience with young students under age 5 (a plus!)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 therapy to children in home or community‑based setting
• Collect data and complete daily session notes to track progress and inform practice
• Provide families with the information, skills, and support related to enhancing the child’s skill development
• Conduct activities to improve cognitive, communication, social‑emotional, fine/gross motor, and adaptive ADL skills
• Collaborate with families and service providers to assist the child in reaching its IFSP goals
• Maintain progress reports and participate in meetings related to the child
