Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join a skilled nursing facility in Brooklyn, NY. You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities, and develop individualized treatment plans to restore daily functioning.

The role requires a Master’s in SLP, CCC from ASHA, and NYS SLP licensure. Monday–Friday, day shift with full-time hours in a clinical rehab setting.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited SLP program.
• CCC from ASHA.
• Active New York State SLP license required.
• No prior experience required.
• Monday – Friday, Day Shift.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs.
• Work toward restoring residents' day-to-day functionality and independence.
• Document resident progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Educate residents and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
