Nathan Hale Elementary School in Meriden, CT is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. The SLP will identify, evaluate, and provide speech intervention for communicatively handicapped students and collaborate with teachers to support curriculum access.

A Speech-Language Pathologist position is available at Nathan Hale Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) will identify, evaluate, and provide speech intervention for communicatively handicapped students. The Speech-Language Pathologist will collaborate with general and special education teachers and related service personnel to support students' access to the general education curriculum. The SLP will also be responsible for developing and implementing IEP goals across a continuum of settings. Experience with students who have multiple disabilities, experience with the augmentative/assistive communication devices, and the ability to work with team members are preferred. CFY supervision available.
A valid Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist certification (endorsement #061) is required. A Speech-Language Pathology License (or pre-approval pending completion of one supervised year of full‑time employment) with the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health is also required.
