Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for a school setting in McDonough, GA. In this role, you’ll administer evaluations, develop and implement therapy plans, provide speech and language services, monitor progress, and collaborate with teams to support student outcomes.

This position offers competitive pay up to $52/hour, a completion bonus up to $2,000, W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare benefits, and 401(k) with company match. Starting July 2026.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to assigned students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and IEP goals
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and data
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication and learning
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to service recommendations
• Maintain compliant and confidential student records in accordance with regulations
• Support a range of student communication needs across school settings
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support student success

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Professional Standards Commission approved certificate at level S-5 or above in Speech Language Pathology
• Master’s Degree from a Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university in Speech Language Therapy
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• School-based experience preferred, not required
