Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Speech/Language Pathologist to assess and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in individuals served across our NeuroRestorative programs. You will design and implement therapy plans, review medical records, and educate families and caregivers to support continued progress.

The role offers Monday–Friday schedules with flexible start/stop times, competitive salary, CEU stipend of $500 yearly, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology required.
• One year experience as a Speech Therapist preferred.
• Current state licensure/certification as a Speech Therapist required.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing with access to a registered vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Successful clearance of local/state background checks.
• Strong communication skills and compassionate approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech and language skills, development, articulation ability, and voice and fluency disorders.
• Direct and administer speech therapy using rehabilitation techniques.
• Review medical records, test and evaluate individuals, and develop therapy plans.
• Identify and develop intervention strategies.
• Instruct individuals, families, and caregivers to maintain or achieve optimal functioning.
• Coordinate home care services for individuals served.

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. • Instruct individuals we serve, family members, and primary caregivers to insure the maintenance of or to achieve the ideal functioning level for each person served.
• Insure effective coordination of individual's served home care services.
