Giant Steps Illinois is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist responsible for providing comprehensive speech therapy and language development services for students with autism spectrum disorders. The ideal candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, support the facilitation and implementation of AAC devices, and engage with parents to maximize student support.
Successful candidates should possess a Master's degree in Speech Pathology along with the required certifications and licensure, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.
Giant Steps day school is looking to hire a full‑time Speech‑Language Pathologist. We are seeking a collaborative individual who is passionate about promoting communication with individuals on the autism spectrum. Qualities of a successful candidate include a desire to provide functional communication support to students/participants throughout the school day, support the facilitation and implementation of AAC devices as necessary for student communication, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and parents to maximize services and support to each student.
This position is responsible for providing comprehensive speech therapy and language development services for students with autism spectrum disorders and functions as a member of the educational and therapeutic team.

The Speech Language Pathologist is an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Salary is commensurate with level of education and experience.
The Speech Language Pathologist follows the Day School Staff Calendar.
