Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist in Lebanon, Tennessee. In this role, you’ll conduct evaluations, support IEP development, and collaborate with school teams to help students succeed.

This position is suited for experienced school-based SLPs or those transitioning into schools; 0.8 FTE+ benefits apply after a short waiting period. W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare benefits, and a 401(k) with company match are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold Tennessee SLP license.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Eligible for Tennessee school-based credentialing/licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based SLP services: evaluations, treatment, and consultation.
• Conduct standardized assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students’ communication skills development.
• Partner with teachers, SPED staff, and families to promote carryover.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Adapt materials and environments to improve student access.

• Eligible for appropriate Tennessee school-based credentialing/licensure

• School-based experience preferred, not required
