Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for a Laurens, SC school-based role. This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position for the 2026-2027 school year.

Provide speech-language therapy to K-12 students, conduct assessments, develop IEP goals and therapy plans, and participate in IEP meetings while collaborating with school teams. Competitive pay up to $58/hour and W-2 employment with benefits.

Qualifications

• South Carolina licensed SLP or ability to obtain licensure.
• SC Education Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Hi, SLPs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a school-based position in Laurens, SC. You’ll support students by providing speech and language services that directly impact communication and learning. This role is ideal for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs), with strong mentorship provided.
