Job summary

Protouch Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluations and therapy for speech, language, feeding, and swallowing in Las Cruces, NM. The role emphasizes individualized treatment plans and AAC support, with a focus on safety in mealtime.

You will work across assigned residential locations. The position requires a Master’s in SLP, an active NM SLP license, and at least 1 year of independent clinical experience after licensure, with preferred experience in IDs, dysphagia/AAC,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Active New Mexico SLP license.
• Minimum 1 year of independent clinical experience after licensure.
• Experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
• Dysphagia, AAC, and residential care experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing evaluations and therapy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Support AAC and functional communication needs.
• Provide dysphagia and mealtime safety services within scope and competence.
• Train staff and caregivers on client-specific communication and feeding strategies.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
• Support client rights, safety, dignity, and person-centered care.
• Provide services across assigned residential locations.

Education
