Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents in senior living communities. The role focuses on swallowing and communication disorders with individualized, function-based sessions.

Candidates will establish goals, develop comprehensive programs, and collaborate with a clinical team to coordinate care plans and ensure high-quality rehabilitative services.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with swallowing disorders and communication impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop and implement SLP treatment programs from a full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate patients’ plans of care.

• Establish treatment goals and develop and implement Speech Pathology treatment programs based on a full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patients’ plans of care
• Treat residents one-on-one with individualized, function-based treatment sessions
• Deliver personalized therapeutic care to residents in senior living communities

Requirements

• Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
