Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based role in Katy, TX. You will assess, plan, and deliver direct therapy to students, collaborating with teachers and families to support IEP goals.

The position requires current TX SLP licensure, a background check, and strong organizational and communication skills. Benefits include CEU/license reimbursement and comprehensive health coverage.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
  • Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
  • Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
  • Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
  • Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).

Job description

Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Pay Range: $47-$55 per hour Job Description: Full-Time | Katy, TX | School-Based | SLP License Required

About the Role:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. You'll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education. This role collaborates closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.

What You'll Do:

What We're Looking For:

Must Have:

Preferred:

  • One year of experience in speech therapy Department of Education certification
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
