Job summary

Point Quest Group in Tomball, TX is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a part-time school-based role serving K-4 students. You will assess, plan, and deliver direct therapy aligned with IEP goals, collaborating with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team to promote communication skills and educational access.

Candidates must hold a current SLP license in Texas (or be eligible), complete background checks, and have strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have: Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state or eligibility to obtain
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
• Experience with school-based caseload management
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
• Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).

What We're Looking For:
