Job summary

Therapy Care is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (CFY) to join a supportive team with a strong CF mentorship program. You will participate in rounding, professional development meetings, and social events while working with a diverse pediatric caseload.

The role emphasizes collaboration, ongoing training, and access to extensive resources and a large lending library to support both new graduates and experienced clinicians.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Illinois SLP license or eligible to obtain.
• Illinois Professional Educator's License (PEL) or eligible to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessments.
• Provide direct intervention services for various communication disorders.
• Collaborate with educators to integrate speech goals into the curriculum.
• Educate families and caregivers on techniques to improve communication.
• Maintain documentation of assessments, progress notes, and plans.

Your Responsibilities:

• Speech Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, fluency, and social communication skills.
• Speech Language Pathologist will develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings and student needs.
• Speech Language Pathologist will provide direct intervention services to students with various communication disorders and delays.
• Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with educators to integrate speech and language goals into the academic curriculum.
• Speech Language Pathologist will educate and empower students, families, and caregivers on techniques for improving communication and language skills.
• Speech Language Pathologist will maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.

Compensation:

Up to $60/hour* depending on experience, setting and client placement.
