Job summary

Therapy Care is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (CFY eligible) to join a supportive team in Illinois. The role emphasizes a comprehensive CF mentorship program, collaboration with mentors, and ongoing professional development.

You will conduct assessments, create individualized plans, provide direct services, and work with educators to integrate goals into classrooms. Excellent communication and a passion for pediatric care are essential.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
  • Illinois SLP license - or eligible to obtain.
  • Illinois Professional Educator's License (PEL) - or eligible to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessments.
  • Provide direct intervention services to students with communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators to integrate speech goals into the curriculum.
  • Educate families on strategies to support communication skills at home.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and progress notes.

What We're Looking For:
  • Remarkable team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for learning and providing exceptional care.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Speech Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, fluency, and social communication skills.

  • Speech Language Pathologist will develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings and student needs.

  • Speech Language Pathologist will provide direct intervention services to students with various communication disorders and delays.

  • Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with educators to integrate speech and language goals into the academic curriculum.

  • Speech Language Pathologist will educate and empower students, families, and caregivers on techniques for improving communication and language skills.

  • Speech Language Pathologist will maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.

Compensation: Up to $65/hour* depending on experience, setting and client placement.
