Job summary

Phoenix Home Care is seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy to patients in their homes in Jefferson City, MO and surrounding areas. You will assess, treat, and document per the Plan of Care, while benefiting from AI-assisted charting to support work-life balance.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a current license in the practice states. Prior clinical experience is preferred, with travel and flexible hours possible.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-language pathology is required.
• Current license in state(s) of practice.
• Prefer 1 year clinical experience in acute care or rehab.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech-language therapy services to patients as ordered by physician.
• Documents care accurately and timely per agency standards.
• Collaborates with the care team to update the Plan of Care.
• Maintains professional conduct and adheres to regulations and ethics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct speech therapy services to patients as ordered by a physician and in accordance with the Plan of Care.
• Complies with agency standards, policies, procedures, state and federal regulations, state practice acts for licensed personnel, the Business Code of Ethics, and payer requirements.
• Provides legible, accurate, timely and complete documentation in accordance with the established agency standards of all care and services provided to patients as assigned.
• Communicates and collaborates with team members when reviewing, revising, and updating the patient’s Plan of Care.
• Performs job responsibilities in accordance with agency financial and productivity goals in the promotion of effective and efficient agency operations.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Education / Licensure: Master’s degree in Speech-language pathology. Current license in the state(s) of practice.
• Experience: Prefer one (1) year clinical experience, preferably in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment, utilizing good judgment, flexibility and patience in all situations.
• Position requires mental alertness, precision, analytical ability, problem solving, memory, communication, concentration and initiative.
• May require frequent travel and irregular hours.
