Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist role based in Houston, TX. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of communication and language disorders through individualized treatment plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting evaluations, administering standardized assessments, delivering direct therapy, and documenting progress in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. The role involves educating and collaborating with families and caregivers, coordinating care with other professionals, and adjusting treatment strategies based on client response and clinical best practices. The Speech Language Pathologist will also participate in case conferences and ongoing professional development to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Speech Therapy and Speech, with the ability to design and implement effective treatment plans.
• Expertise in assessing and treating Dysphagia, including safe swallowing strategies and intervention techniques.
• Knowledge of Communication Disorders and Language Disorders, and the ability to tailor therapy to individual needs.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and active state licensure (or eligibility) in Texas.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or working toward completion is preferred.
• Strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills, with attention to ethical and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams, and to work independently in a clinical setting.
• Experience in pediatric or adult clinical settings, or related internships, is beneficial.
