Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver school-based services in northern Anne Arundel County, MD. Immediate interviews available.

You will evaluate speech and language disorders, develop IEPs, provide direct therapy in groups or one-on-one, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student goals. School holidays are built in and professionalism is valued.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • MD SLP license or eligibility to obtain before start.
  • CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged.
  • Experience with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and therapy documentation.

Job description

EDU Healthcare is hiring an SLP to provide school-based services to our service in northern Anne Arundel County. Immediate interviews are being scheduled!

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
  • Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license in the state of MD (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery
  • Work in a structured, school-based setting with built-in school holidays
  • Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to make a direct impact on student success
