Job summary

Freedom Therapy in Ohio is seeking a committed PRN Speech Therapist to partner with patients in home health care across Eastern Cuyahoga, Lake and Geauga counties. You will work to restore daily activities and help clients function at their personal best. Pick your reimbursement package; pay is per visit from $65 to $95.

Prior home care experience preferred but not required. Must hold Ohio licensure and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold Ohio license to practice speech therapy.
• Experience in home health care or clinical settings is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication and patient engagement.

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs.

We are looking for a committed prn Speech Therapist to act as the patient’s partner throughout the trip of restoring daily activities and ensuring that the client will function at their personal best. You will maximize the quality of life and potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation.

ST Responsibilities

• Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
• Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
• Create wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
• Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
• Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
• Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving clients’ cognitive and swallowing abilities
• Consult and communicate with the interdisciplinary team
• Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
• Document patient care services

ST Skills

• Proven work experience as a Speech therapist
