We are hiring Speech‑Language Pathologists and welcoming CFY candidates to provide services in our school partnerships in the Akron and Cleveland areas.

Speech Provider

$36 - $41.73/hr *

*Salary range is contingent upon experience, credentialing, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time).

Expectations:

• Provide telecommute/remotespeech services that adhere to the goals and objectives found in each student's IEP or Plan of Care
• Administer all necessary evaluations and assessments with written reports and Plan of Care
• Keep accurate records and provide updates on progress and recommendations regarding IEPs
• Communicate ongoing student/client progress to parents/guardians, general education teachers, school administration, district personnel, and other service professionals

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensed as a Speech Pathologist by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board, hold a Pupil Service License by the Ohio Department of Education, and have your CCC from ASHA, and a minimum of two years of experience
• Familiar with the Ohio Education Code, Ohio Code of Regulations, and Office of Education schools’ policies, rules, and regulations regarding programs and pupils
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License in good standing
• Hold valid CPR and First Aid training certificateMust clear a current background check through the FBI and BCI
• Auto insurance liability coverage which meets the minimum for work‑related travel (25/50k liability coverage)
• Ability to travel to more than one site on any given day
• A current TB Test

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with individuals with special needs
• Five years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience in auditing and monitoring compliance for the district, state, and federal regulations regarding Special Education

• Varied work environments, including classrooms, clinics, and homes
• Moderate to loud noise levels and physical demands may vary
• Working with individuals exhibiting diverse behaviors and needs
