Madera Post Acute Center in El Monte, CA, is seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house therapy team. CFY's are welcome! Full Time - Flexible schedule with work-life balance. Pay: $48 - $60/hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CFYs are welcome.
• Open to SLPs at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders and develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Evaluate outcomes and modify services as needed; refer when appropriate.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding speech disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries in line with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Duties:

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.
