Job summary

Madera Post Acute Center in El Monte, CA is seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house therapy team. CFYs are welcome and licensed SLPs will provide evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities include screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders; deliver rehab; monitor outcomes; provide counseling to patients and families; generate discharge summaries. Competitive hourly pay $48-$60/hr and benefits.

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with current credentials.

• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.
