Job summary

Springs Village Care Center in Colorado Springs is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, treat, and support patients with communication and swallowing disorders in an in-house care setting. You will conduct screenings, develop care plans, administer rehabilitative interventions, and provide counseling to patients and families while adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.

Open to new grads and all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care; create care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative interventions to patients per regulatory and clinical standards.
• Assist with standing/walking, lifting, transferring as part of patient care.
• Administer procedures as part of rehabilitation plan and wound care.
• Counsel patients, families, and caregivers; provide discharge summaries and documentation.

We are excited to announce our growth in Colorado and are currently seeking passionate Speech-Language Pathologists to join our in-house crew at Springs Village Care Center. As a therapy professional on our team, you will have the freedom to create and implement programs to best meet the needs of your patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
