Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in Centennial, CO is hiring a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-8 students with speech and language services. Mentorship for CFs is available, with flexible scheduling and W-2 employment including liability insurance.

The role focuses on articulations, language, fluency, social communication, and collaboration with teachers and families. Licensure in Colorado is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado State SLP license (or ability to obtain).
• Colorado CDE Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-8 school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

You'll support K-8 students by providing speech and language services that directly impact communication, learning, and student success. This role is a great fit for experienced SLPs as well as Clinical Fellows (CFs), with strong mentorship and support available.
