Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based role in Burnsville, NC for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position offers flexible scheduling and mentorship for CFs.

You will provide speech-language services in a K-12 setting, evaluate students, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers and families to support carryover of skills, with W-2 employment and benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensure from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
• Eligibility for NC licensure through the Department of Public Instruction.
• Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
